I write code every single day
Even when it feels like work
Code fills my long boring days.
Finishing my code with a smirk
Reading and learning new things now
Even though I’m bored writing this
Not many people even give a cow
I’m still very much so, In a bliss
I just sit at home on my PC
Trying to make the next big thing
Most of my friends don’t give a Whoopee
Trying to make a tiny little sting
In the end I’m not book smart
Even with all my friends around me

I try and make a mark

in this world we live

I try to change things

So I can teach my kids

I try to make the world better

but I really don’t know how

I try to make the world

go round and round

I try to help others do good things

but no matter what I do the devil sings.

I try to help my dog and cat

but all the do is eat and get fat

I try to help my family and friends

no matter what the stakes I lose in the end.

I try to meet new people and see new things

but no matter what I’ll still be under my moms wing

Respect

Respect is a hard thing to show

But no matter the hate put on your fake glow

Respect sometimes can be hard to find

Even if it takes me and you combined

Respect is a pretty big word

Even for a little bitty mocking bird

Respect is like a motor scooter

It’s easy to see but hard to maneuver

Respect can be pretty hard to swallow

Especially if you have a heart that is hollow

Respect can be shown with feeling

Well, for those who don’t like stealing

Respect in the end is all people need

To show others how not to plead

Respect in the end is how the world should be

Respect shouldn’t be taken so lightly
